Prince Philip, 98, said: "As we approached the World Immunization Week, I wanted to recognize the vital and urgent work that a lot of people are doing to tackle the epidemic, by medical and scientific professionals, in universities and research institutions, all united in action to protect us the enemy of humankind Covid- 19.

“On behalf of those who are still safe and at home, I also wanted to thank all the key workers who ensure the continued infrastructure of our lives; the staff and volunteers working in the production and distribution of food, those who keep postal and delivery services continuous, and those that ensure garbage continues to collect it. ".


The Duke remains affiliated with more the 750 organizations, including the sectors of scientific and technological research, health care and infrastructure, which have responded to the spread of the disease, including the London School of Health and Tropical Medicine and the Royal Academy of Engineering
