Prince William and Kate celebrate the Queen's birthday
Prince William and Kate led a 94-year birthday wish parade to the Queen. By holding a party, the couple shared a photo of themselves with the monarch on the official Twitter account of Kensington Palace.
It was shot at the 2019 RHS Chelsea Flower Show, while Kate was showcasing her theme park to her majesty. Besides the photo, they wrote: "I wish Her Majesty the Queen a very happy birthday 94 today!"
Prince Charles and Camilla also praised the influential post of four portraits of the queen, including one of her majesty with Prince Charles as a child, and one showing the king with the duchess sharing the van together. They wrote: "I wish Her Majesty the Queen a very happy 94th birthday."
Unfortunately, this year the Queen celebrates her birthday away from her family as the coronavirus continues to be closed. She spends the day at Windsor Castle with her husband Prince Philip.
Because of the coronavirus, the king requested the abolition of many of her birthday traditions this year. Instead, you will especially celebrate.
The source told ITV, "We will not celebrate Her Majesty's birthday in any special way," insisting that it "is in keeping with Her Majesty's wishes."
"There will be no salute with the rifles. His Majesty was careful not to take special measures to allow the firearms to be saluted because she did not feel it was appropriate in the current circumstances."
"We think this may be the first time in its reign."
The aides were planning a video call to celebrate the Queen's Big Day allowing her family to wish her a happy birthday.
William previously said that the royal family was using Zoom to keep in touch from its various isolation places.
